In 2024 the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards named Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack African Iconic Female Administrator of the Year.
She went on to lead the Federal Civil Service as its 20th Head from 14 August 2024, and the same awards honoured her again in 2026 with the African Iconic Public Service Award and a place in their Hall of Fame.
